History: Katheryn Michaels was an academic marvel from a young age.  She graduated high school at the top of her class applying to Harvard and being accepted.  While in school she met and fell in love with a fellow business major, Trent Logan.  After graduating from Harvard the couple married and began working at Trent's family business.  They worked their way up the corporate ladder while trying to start a family.

After numerous years and many tests, the Logans began to think they couldn't have children.  It was around this time that Katheryn discovered her husband was having extra-marital affairs when a woman of Hispanic heritage arrived on their doorstep several months pregnant claiming her husband was the father.  As they seemingly were incapable of having their own children the Logans agreed to pay off the mother to give up her parental rights and for Katheryn to adopt the baby, a girl they would name Selene.  Two years after Selene arrived Katheryn finally became pregnant, a girl that the Logans named Sienna.

After Trent's father retired he turned control of the family business over to his son and daughter-in-law.  Katheryn is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the family business.
