History:  Diego is the maternal uncle of Bobby Popko.  Diego joined the US Army after graduating high school and qualified for Ranger school while in boot camp.  He graduated at the top of his class and served in the Ranger Battalion for the duration of his army career.  After retiring from the Army he moved to Arizona where he built a home in the mountains off the beaten path.  He occasionally travels to California to visit his sister's family and to spend time with his nephew who he sees as himself at that age.
