Chapter 2 Commentary

Overview: So in Chapter 2 I try to establish the characters a bit as we all know by now they're going to start dropping one by one.  Jackson and Rocki are cordial with one another as they said they would be but I do paint Rocki as jealous of Miss Ann Phillips (her roommate).

I originally painted Sienna as mildly interested in Jackson but that is later revealed to just be Sienna trying to rile up Jackson.  Ann on the other hand generally likes him.

Tori is shown to have an interest in Ethan (who has broken up with Ramona in this story).  Unfortunately it was not meant to be.

Ethan is constantly on Rocki about Jackson not because he enjoys making fun of her but because he believes that the two truly belong together and that Rocki has made a mistake in breaking up with Jackson (no matter the reason).

History:  There was a serial killer back in 1996 that took the lives of five counselors.  Chad was well aware of this fact but he and his father hid this from everyone.  Rocki however is a curious person and did her own investigation into the summer camp.

The Music: It took me quite awhile to find the right version of Chopin's Funeral March to share with you.  I needed it convey the dread I was hoping for.  While the video I shared was not 9 minutes long as described the actual piano version is.  Check it out at your leasure.

The Big Reveal: Unlike some of the more traditional slasher movies I decided to reveal to the cast that there is something very wrong happening at the camp now, and not when there is only one or two characters remaining.

The unfortunate victim, Miss Ann Phillips.
