History:  The Fuller extended family meets Connie Jane (she goes by CJ) the summer after the Fullers move into the old Tanner house.  DJ, unable to choose between Steve Hale and Matt Harmon chooses neither.  She takes the summer and prepares to choose Steve but he has started dating Dr. CJ Harbenberger.

Steve ironically started dating CJ as she is very similar to DJ (similar appearance, names, both medical professionals, and talk in similar manners).  CJ loves Steve, and while Steve proposes to CJ, they make it all the way to the altar.  CJ becomes very depressed after this and is on Xanax to deal with her anxiety.  

Eventually, CJ forgives DJ and Steve and is present when the two finally get married.

AN: CJ is a minor character from Season 2 to Season 5 making only 10 appearances.  She knows that DJ and Steve have feelings for one another but does not consider DJ a threat until it is too late.

CJ is a doctor in San Francisco but it is never stated if she is in general practice or a specialist.

CJ is a single mother to Rose Harbenberger.  Her daughter is Max Fuller's (DJ's second son) childhood, girlfriend.
