History:  Charlie is the youngest son of Sean and Rebecca "Becca" Donovan.  He has two older brothers Chad & Chase.  His father's younger sister (his aunt) Claire has one daughter, Chloe who he is very close to and sees as more of a sister than a cousin.  Charlie meets Jackson, Rocki, Ramona, and Coco in Cancun during the spring of their Senior Year.  The four teens are there as a graduation gift while the Donovans are on a family vacation.

During the events of Spring Break Charlie takes an immediate liking to Ramona but does not have the courage to act on his instincts.  Partially due to his more reserved nature and partially because he's afraid she might hit him as Rocki did his brother.

The pair say goodbye when the Donovans have to leave on Thursday while Jackson's group still has two and a half days in Cancun.
